Cinderella is a fairy tale which has been told throughout the world for generations. It is a much older tale than many people realize with the origins dating back to between 7 BC and AD23 when the Greek geographer Strabo told the story of Rhodopis which was about a Greek slave girl who marries the king of Egypt. Although not the same as the version we are most familiar with today, it is considered the oldest variant of the fairy tale. Reference: Wikipedia

(Hagen-Renaker, 1950s) A collection of (3) very hard-to-find painted glazed ceramic figurines by Hagen-Renaker. Included are Cinderella, Gus, and Jaq. The pieces all stand between 1.25″ and 2.5″ tall. All are in fine condition with the Cinderella piece retaining the original Hagen-Renaker label.
